CanadaBDSM.com denotes Triskelion

The Triskelion symbol has been used to describe a great many different things, usually thought of as a Celtic symbol. The notable difference with the BDSM Triskelion is the three holes inside the circle. Some believe these holes to represent the three roles that can be taken with BDSM, which are currently, Top ( Dominant ) & submissive ( bottom ) and Switch. The holes are also thought to represent the three SSC principles BDSM, which are Safe, Sane and Consensual. Honestly, there are more than just SSC, there's PRICK, RACK..etc.

There have been some that claim the holes inside the Triskelion are just that, holes in which one needs to find partners to fill that void. Which is a nice sentiment and all, I'm sure some will consider that cute, gives them a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside. BDSM can mean a lot of different things, to a lot of different people. For some this is a serious relationship, or occasion, not just a weekend event.

We're sure there can be hundreds of other interpretations of this symbol around the world, in the end, this particular design is highly regarded for BDSM. Not Abuse!
